With over a decade of experience working in the real estate industry, Katie Arlt has the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm that is necessary to serve in the Georgia real estate market. After becoming licensed in 2006, Katie began her journey into residential real estate with Coldwell Banker. Within a few years, she discovered the restaurant business. Together with her partners, Katie opened, operated and sold seven restaurants in Georgia. She quickly learned how beneficial her real estate experience was to the restaurant business and began working in commercial real estate as a business broker specializing in restaurants with Atlanta Restaurant Exchange in Atlanta. Here, she became a fantastic negotiator and discovered the importance of contract law. Eventually, Katie realized that her heart belongs in helping families with the largest most important purchase and sale they will probably ever make – their homes! She received a mortgage license from the department of banking and finance to learn the lending side of the business. Then, she joined her mentor at Sotheby's International Realty and learned the ropes of the luxury market. Eventually, she decided to come back to her hometown and start a team with Keller Williams to help as many families as possible in Gwinnett County, Georgia; where she was born and raised. Finally in 2018 Katie became a licensed Real Estate Broker and decided to pursue her dream of becoming the Broker Owner of her own brokerage firm. Katie Arlt & Associates Real Estate's mission is to help as many individuals as possible achieve their real estate goals, while finding creative ways to protect their investments, save the most money throughout the process, and to provide the most prompt and extraordinary "million-dollar service" by going the extra mile to make the buying and selling process easier for customers & clients in ANY price range. Our firm continues to research and implement the latest technology and leverage to make the real estate business more comfortable for everyone involved. Outside of business, Katie loves being a mother to her three children. Katie is also an artist at heart and has been painting abstract art since she attended Parkview High School. In her spare time, she enjoys her passion for learning, aviation and making every day feel like a vacation! Since opening KARE firm, Katie hopes to gain even more presence in the local market as a knowledgeable broker and continue to mentor agents and service clients with impeccable customer service & "KARE".
